Cinnamon Buns

Wow, it has been a while since I've had time to update my blog. Not that it gets much, if any traffic at all right now, haha. Because I have no time. Ah, time, that fickle, fickle creature. Anyways, went for sort of an androgynous look today with a very feminine hairstyle that looks sort of like chocolate cinnamon buns with the color that my hair is. I need to make these posts more exciting. When I have time.

Shopping Adventure

Went out clothes shopping yesterday, got a lot of good finds. Argyle sweater for $8 anyone? Love thrift stores. Cheap and nice clothes, yay!

Cooler Color Time

Took me ages to decide what to wear today, finally picked this out. Ended up adoring it. Turned out rather nicely. I plan on wearing it to go see The Rum Diary the movie later on, should be fun.

Peter Rabbit!

I found this glorious little cropped Peter Rabbit top at Forever 21. Officially one of my favorite tops now. And one of my favorite outfits now, it tuned out adorable.

Thrift Store Find of the Week: Leopard Print Zip Up

So, every week, specifically every Sunday, I am going to highlight an article of clothing I've purchased from a thrift store! Yay, some excitement. I frequently clothes shop and shop the most at thrift stores, I have been for years. Many thrift stores are great places to find vintage and unique, one of a kind clothing at affordable prices. This week is a leopard print zip up sweater I stumbled upon while browsing through thrift store sweaters. It's rather warm and goes nicely with much of my wardrobe. Animal print seems to be rather popular this season, so this is great.

Winter Comes Early

The temperatures here this week have been freezing. I've been wearing so many sweaters. So many. Sweaters layered with sweaters. Big, heavy, warm sweaters like the one I'm wearing in this post. One of my favorites, and more on the wintery side, but I felt it was appropriate due to the weather. Love the pattern on it, it's so huge and certainly kept me warm.

Sweater and Dress Combo

Today was rather dull. Spent the majority of my time in front of a computer. However, I did like my outfit. Layered this extra large sweater over one of my favorite Autumn dresses. Was very comfortable and felt cozy all day.

Black and Orange

I have been so busy lately! I've been out and about so much with work and college and social life. Plus, I got sick, so that's hindered me a bit from posting as well. Anyways, this outfit was inspired by Halloween colors, with the dark orange and little black button down shirt. Wore it with a recently purchased pair of oxford shoes, which are surprisingly comfy. The camera made my face a total white out, but at least you can see my outfit all right.

Old School Prepster

I loved my outfit today, wore it to my college classes. It looks similar to what preps used to wear I think. The buttoned down shirt underneath is Banana Republic (a clothing brand I do so like) and is in great condition, obtained it from thrift store shopping. I also wore jeans with my outfit, a rare occurrence for me, haha.

Librarian

Every time I wear my glasses, at least one person says I look like a librarian. I see it sometimes, but not always. Anyways, today was an interesting sort of day I suppose. Spent some time with my boyfriend in the morning then went out thrift shopping with my brother, got some great finds! I wanted something neutral and comfortable today, so i wore a light sweater layered with a camisole and a cardigan, then a skirt and tights. Turned out fairly well, a look I remix and go to often.

Bundled Up!

Today was so chilly, the temperature here is dropping rapidly. Got all bundled up against the cold. My jacket is one of my favorites, it's a rare vintage find from a local thrift store. I rarely find vintage clothes in this area, I was excited. Paired different shades of gray and had the red sweater be my pop of color. Red accents in the lining of the jacket as well.

Pops and Hints

Didn't do too much today, mainly worked on some class work and got some pastries with my brother. Such a comfortable outfit, just got this blue sweater and skirt from a consignment shop. How I love nice, chic, and fairly priced clothes. Skirt is Forever 21 too, how I love that store.

Rough and Ready

Wore this today. This hat is glorious, thrift stores can have such great finds. This is a rougher style than I usually sport, but I think it turned out well.

Color Me Rich

I do like this outfit, the colors are so rich.I had to take my main body shot inside due to my camera washing out the color of my sweater. Had dinner with my boyfriend and family and watched Edward Scissorhands that night. The cardigan is one of my favorites in my wardrobe, in love with the color and coziness. All in all, a good evening and comfy clothes.

Pay Check, So Shopping

I got my pay check that day, so to celebrate I of course went clothes shopping with my boyfriend, who also happens to be a clothes lover. Bought some fancy deep blue skinny jeans and army green cargo skinnies, which I'm sure you'll see in later posts. Also, found a gorgeous pair of heels. Loved my outfit that day, so adorable. Had on my favorite hat which I bought from a local thrift store.First official blog post!
